The music program from KBS is holding the concert to commemorate the 40th year of diplomatic relationship between Indonesia and South Korea. Aside from the eight K-pop groups (Eru, SISTAR, Teen Top, 2PM, BEAST, SHINee, Infinite, and Super Junior), Indonesian artists will also participate in the event.
"This year is the 40th year in which the two countries are in diplomatic relationship. This also marks the friendship between Indonesia and South Korea. For that reason, we are holding Music Bank on March 9th in Gelora Bung Karno," the South Korea Ambassador for Indonesia, Kim Yeong Seon, stated after meeting with Jokowi in Jakarta's City Hall on Friday (01/04/2013).

'Music Bank Live Tour' will also kick-off a chain of events to celebrate Indonesia and South Korea's friendship. The concert will be followed by other events and will ultimately end with Jakarta's anniversary on June 22.
"This coming June is when Jakarta will celebrate its anniversary, so we will events after another. We want the events to be celebrated together, and we want to show the strength of Indonesia and South Korea's relationship," Ambassador Kim Yeong Seon continued.
Additionally, a different article was released (see 2nd source link). This article states that a concert with 2PM, Super Junior, and Big Bang will be held on April 9 in Gelora Bung Karno as well, commemorating the same cause. We're not sure whether it's true since there are speculations that it should be referring to the Music Bank event. We will update again once clearer information is released! ^^
